Movies
I like movies, from Alfred Hitchcock to Akira Kurosawa , Stanley Kubrick to Steven Spielberg, Wong Ka Wai to John Woo. I like old movies, Audrey Hepburn's collection is one of my favourites.
Movie time
Recently, I have seen many DVDs that I want to see for a long time.
Clockwork Orange (1971)
Stanley Kubrick's controversal masterpiece. From a virture point, criticism aroused because of the sexual violence is understandable. He withdrew the distribution in the UK after recieving a threat to his family. In 2000 (he died in 1999), the movie was finally released on video and DVD. It could not easily be seen in the UK for 27 years. Though I don't like seeing violent movie, I have to say that it is very interesting and inspiring. Kubrick's movies are always beautiful and he used music and color very well. He is really a talented guy.
Adaptation (2002)
Nicholas Cage is the best for this character. It is a weird movie talking about the way of life.
Corpse Bride (2005)
Tim Burton - sometimes his film figures are better than the movie itself just like Corpse Bride. I prefer Big Fish.
One flew over the cuckoo's nest (1975)
Another classic. If you have time, don't miss it.

This movie is talking about a dysfunctional family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Every member with different problems which make them live very unhappily. When the seven years old little girl is dying to win the beauty contest in California, story starts. It sounds not very interesting, right? But it is. You may find nothing special in the trailer but it is very good indeed. Movies with the theme of family always make you feel bored or "too much". But this one is different because no one is going to teach you how to solve the problems in family. You cannot solve the family problems but live with them.

Hollywood film - remake of the popular Hong Kong crime moive "Infernal Affairs 無間道". I don't have much expectation on remark movies but because of the director Martin Scorsese, I think I will see this movie. I miss this very nice Hong Kong movie, Tony Leung, Andy Lau and Tsai Chin's song "被遺忘的時光"......

It is one of my favourites in this year. When I saw this movie, I laughed and cried.
